MIRA-SAR — Miniature SAR for GNSS-denied Navigation

Reference demo system: MIRA-SAR, a miniature Ku-band SAR navigation payload (≤ 2.5 kg) for drones. It forms SAR imagery in flight and correlates it with on-board satellite reference maps (radar scene-matching) to produce an absolute position fix and re-align the inertial navigation system without GNSS — for operation in jammed or contested airspace. Modelled end-to-end: operational analysis, system functions, logical & physical architecture, state machines, interfaces, requirements, technical issues, IVV campaigns and full cross-layer traceability.
